Woman robbed in East Ukrainian Village


Police are investigating a possible armed robbery in Chicago's East Ukrainian Village.

Around 9:46 p.m., a woman's purse was stolen on the 1100 block of North Wolcott Venue, said police.

The thief was described as a black man, approximately 5'6" to 5'8", and last seen wearing a white baseball cap and a white T-shirt.

One report said the offender was possibly armed with a weapon.

No further details are available.
