Are these cops thieves or wrongly accused? |
In footage uploaded to YouTube on July 12, 2011, a citizen openly accused two cops of mugging him.
"So, are you guys gonna give my $10 dollars back," asked the man in the video.
"We don't have your f*cking money," said one cop in the video.
"You pinned me up against that wall and took my money. And then you said, you're the law and I don't have rights," said the accuser.
It's unclear if the officers knew they were being recorded.
At the end of the 47-seconds-long video clip, the officers stopped responding to the man's accusations and drove away.
Chicago News Report contacted the purported owner of this video for more details. He has yet to respond to our inquiries.

Cops have become dirty bums sure, but why? Same reason ER docs are callous. Both deal with the crap of society and only those of the highest character will continue their jobs unaffected. Cops in big cities are rude jerks because of the high percentage of blacks that live in big cities. The Bad Cop is a secondary insult that law abiding citizens suffer and the cause was forced integration, well fare, food stamps, free cell phones, free health care, affirmative action, and free rent. As described in Bowling Alone, the more diverse a society, the less trust there is even within homogenous groups. The country has paid a heavy price for manufactured "equality"; even blacks, with now 80% out of wedlock births, have been hurt.
ReplyDeleteYeah right! Like I believe the cops would take $10 bucks. This is just a new scam these ghetto thugs have come up with to then sue for the ghetto lottery.
ReplyDeleteI could walk up to a cop with a cell phone and start blurting out accusations as well... How about filming the actual "alleged" crime, genius... I'm so tired of these bums hating on cops and the city not protecting cops from bs like this..
ReplyDeleteIt's always troublemakers talking sh!t about getting harassed by cops. Newsflash dummies...don't cause trouble and the cops won't have any reason to bother you.
ReplyDeleteThe man speaking in this video does not sound like a thug at all! This story is very believable; the police could have searched him and taken money out of his wallet easily. Police abuse their power and you folks stick up for them!
ReplyDeleteNo, but he does sounds like a pothead. Probably, spent the $10 on a dime bag and forgot.
ReplyDeleteGood for the cops to walk away like that. While we have no idea what actually happened, I think one of the worst things they could have done would be to stay there and get in a shouting match with this kid over his alleged $10. Like a previous poster said, it's really easy to turn on a video camera & started shouting false accusations. And the last thing those cops would need is a video showing them arguing with this guy, or even worse, getting physical with him.
ReplyDeleteThe idiot who posted this video goes by the handle "lovepigsburning666" on You Tube. Loves Pigs Burning - really?!?! Most normal people will see that screen name & immediately question this guy's motives.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be surprised if the reason he was in an encounter with the cops in the first place is bc he was pulled over in his beater car with a "420" bumper sticker.
Did the guy writing this post bother to proofread his own headline?
ReplyDeleteCome on, man.
Maybe the cops took $10, maybe they didn't. Come on... its $10. If that's the worst the kid got, have him stop by, I'll give him $10.
ReplyDeleteI also appreciate that the cops didn't go over and beat the hell out of him and take his cell phone. THAT would have been a problem!
I talk to and have good relationships with local police officers, they are all good guys and they know why this city is going down the toilet, and are helpless to prevent it. Liberals de-criminalized most quality of life crimes, so that the minority of Chicagoans have more rights than the majority, bums running wild in the streets and teens getting away with flashmobbing, because to address the problems as they exist would be "rayciss" and discriminatory.
ReplyDeleteI saw some new pieces of crap on Michigan by South water, they weren't just shaking a cup, they were lunging in passerbys faces going "Aw, COME ON!!!" which is aggressive panhandling. What they need to do is clear out all these pieces of crap from every corner. I saw one guy sitting in prayer position with his begging sign clasped between his praying palms, which had to be hella uncomfortable to do all day. Stop feeding the animals!
Since panhandling and loitering is getting out of hand, the laws need to be changed and made stricter to PROTECT the citizens of this city, as well as the tourists, from these leeches and bottom feeders. These people have more rights than we do and they are the dregs of our society. Time to change the laws!
ReplyDeleteEver go to a concert at the Aragon? The bums are running around with empty cups in a orgasmic bumfrenzy at all the potential new victims gathered before them. They make excited, almost sexual throat guttural sounds. The cops are powerless against this. They've successfully criminalized panhandling in other cities and it's kept down to a bare minimum there, I think I should move there.
ReplyDeleteHey "Realistic Guy" they are not all "good guys". While most are there are plenty of dirty cops... whether raping drunk girls they give rides to or shacked up with their drug dealing, gang banging boyfriend and fighting the cops when they come to arrest him.
ReplyDeleteJust like those dirt bags that beat the crap out of those guys at the Jefferson Tap for no reason and got away with it... even preventing the injured victims from get police or medical help. There are bad cops. I can believe that that mouthy drunk college kid pissed one of them off and the taxed him. I think all cops should wear cameras and mic's. Solve this BS once and for all.
Change the panhandling, loitering and "gun ban" laws and the city might return to some sense of normality. Leave it the way it is and we might as well change the name to "Tombstone".
ReplyDeleteSorry to sound prejudiced, no wait, I'm not sorry to sound prejudiced, but I don't wake up in the morning and say "I hope some greasy homeless people beg me for money all day!"
ReplyDeleteWhat's in it for me, anyways? Nothing! I tried to get one **ithead banned from his usual spot but he just took up residence across the street. The thought occured to me to kick him like a field goal when he chimped after I said "No", but the jailtime wouldn't be worth it.
It really puts me off my meal to have some glistening, skeletal man crouched right outside the restaurant. Makes me take my business elsewhere. I just honestly don't care about helping them and I hope nature takes its course.
