Uptown: Robbery on Carmen Ave.
Tuesday, July 19, 2011, around 11:55 p.m., an armed robbery was reported in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood.
A man was robbed at gunpoint in the middle of the 900 block of West Carmen Avenue, said police.
The suspect stole the victim’s “work bag” containing his wallet and several electronic items, including a cell phone, said authorities.
The offender was described a clean-shaven black man, 35 to 40-years-old, 5’10”, and approximately 170 pounds.
The crook was last seen wearing a dark-colored or black T-shirt.
The suspect fled the scene westbound on Carmen Avenue, then southbound on Sheridan Road.

Why don't we ever hear about white guys stealing people's work bags at gun point?
ReplyDeleteHilarious at this point. One of your "liberals" that lives on that street gave me a "pfft" when I commented while waiting for a cab that "I gotta get outta here, don't want to get caught in the crossfire". That was at least 2 years ago.

There are some decent people there. I am sick of their calls regarding their nice car that's had the windows smashed out for the 5th time though.
