Uptown fire: 4423 North Sheridan Rd.


At approximately 3:26 a.m., a fire was reported on the 4400 block of North Sheridan Road.

According to police dispatch, the fire was at 4423 North Sheridan, near Sheridan and Agatite in Uptown.

Someone started a rubbish fire in the main lobby, said police.

Additional police cars were called to block the northbound traffic at Sheridan and Montrose, while firefighters extinguished the flames.

No displacements or injuries were reported.
