Noble Square neighborhood shooting
Police are investigating a shooting in Chicago’s North Side, Nobel Square neighborhood.
The shooting occurred around 10 p.m. on the 1500 block of West Chicago Avenue, near Chicago and Greenview Avenues, said police.
Another source said the shooting occurred on the 700 block of North Armour Street.
Drops of blood were found on Chicago Avenue between Greenview and North Armour Street; shell casings were discovered at Armour and Chicago, said police.
The shooter was described as a male Hispanic wearing dark-colored clothing.
He was last seen running westbound through a south alley near Chicago Avenue.
Information regarding the shooting victim’s condition was not disclosed.
