Woman attacked, robbed at Roosevelt train station
Around 3:10 p.m., police were investigating an assault and robbery at the Roosevelt CTA train station at 1167 South State Street.
At the time, authorities were trying to determine if the incident occurred on the Orange or Red Line.
A witness saw a Hispanic man knock a woman down and take her purse, said police.
Investigators said the culprit is the victim’s ex-husband.
The suspect, who is 55-years-old, was last seen riding a southbound No. 62 Archer bus.
