'Elderly' woman mugged, knocked down in Logan Square

A woman, described as “elderly”, was knocked to the ground during a strong arm-robbery in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood, said police.

The crime happened around 2:47 p.m. at 3916 West Fullerton Avenue.

According to an online directory, a Family Dollar Store is located at that location.

Three male Hispanics exited a black jeep or a Hummer, knocked the woman to ground, and took her property, said police.

It’s unclear what the thieves stole from the woman.

After the robbery, the crooks fled northbound on Harding Avenue.

The elderly female's condition was not disclosed and there was no indication an ambulance was called to the scene.

If you witnessed this crime, please contact the police.

  1. More ghetto thugs..who would probably beat the hell out of their OWN mother too. Many many adjectives for these bottom feeders for sure!

How totally pathetic to assault the weak and elderly. I hope she's ok, though the mental anguish she will now have for the rest of her life could be far worse than the physical injuries she may have suffered. Now she for sure will not feel safe.
