  1. Not much of a description provided besides the Sox cap. I suppose I'll have to be wary of Sox fans from here on in. Of course, I wouldn't want to say that out loud lest that be considered to be the profiling of Sox fans.

  2. "A detailed description of the suspects was not provided."... was he blind maybe??? How can you NOT see "several male offenders?"

  3. Um, Towanda, maybe because he was seeing stars instead?

When someone comes up behind you and cracks you on the head, and all you see are the back sides of people running, it tends to be difficult to give a good description other than general size (fat or skinny), clothing (likely blue jeans and various color shirts) and the backs of their heads (long hair, short hair, etc).

The CAPS always say to try to describe someone from the head down, but when you only see backs, it's hard.

  4. Ok, than explain the "White Sox" hat? That seems like it would be a front view and IF he could see that, he could give a better description. He was not unconscience..obviously, and IF he could see a "White Sox" hat, he wasn't seeing many stars. I'm just saying...

  5. This is terrible. This area is really going down hill. There was a car jacking at Diversey & Southport a few months ago, a car was set on fire in the alley, so many garage break-ins.

  6. White Sox cap = Southside representation! So yeah, it shouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the race of the offender.
