Early Monday morning, a fire erupted at a 55-story condo building in Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood.

The blaze was reported at the Park Tower Condominium, 5415 North Sheridan Road, around 2:40 a.m.

Authorities said the fire started in the building’s electrical room.

According to police at the scene, there were no injuries or displacements.

Southbound traffic on North Sheridan Road, which was temporarily rerouted, returned to normal around 3:56 a.m.

Back in April of 2010, a woman died in a fire on the 38th floor of the Park Tower Condominium.
