  1. I would absolutely NEVER ride a CTA bus anywhere south of the Field Museum except a few Hyde Park bound buses from downtown. Unfortunately, people on the southside does not know how to conduct themselves out in public.

  2. Riding the bus or train south of the Loop, is always dicey! Hell! Even some of the buses on the North Side are iffy! Lately, I'm not too fond of the 36 Broadway bus. :-)

  3. Tim- 36 Broadway bus definitely tops the list of worst Northside CTA routes. Very dicey, especially when rolling through Uptown and leaving or approaching Rogers Park. Same with 151 Sheridan through the similar route. I avoid them by walking east to Sheridan road and take the 147 Express downtown and back where there's a 0-5% chance of shady riders. =)
