Tires slashed in Rogers Park

Two men, who obviously had nothing better to do, were seen destroying people’s property in Chicago’s Far North Side, Rogers Park neighborhood.

Around 2:29 a.m., a witness saw two Hispanic men slashing tires on the 7400 block of North Rogers Avenue, near the intersection or Rogers and Paulina.

Authorities did not say how many cars were vandalized.

The offenders, who are believed to be in their twenties, fled the scene in a tan-colored jeep going westbound on Rogers to Clark Street.

No further details are available.

Police are investigating.

  1. More ghetto thugs who simply are urban terrorists. We are surrounded by punks who have no respect and want what we have without earning it or paying for it. This is NOT about poverty, there are plenty of poverty stricken people all over this country and the world who don't resort to this. This is about the lack of parental guidance, lack of education and the lack of teaching your children right & wrong. Period! What you're taught when you are young, is what you carry with you as you mature. Some listen others don't but it starts at HOME!

  3. This is what happens, when some do-gooders say/imply "Don't abort the babies!". Unfortunately, some of the un-aborted babies wind up abused, neglected and/or suffer an early death. :(
