Carjacking in East Garfield Park neighborhood

Police are investigating an armed carjacking in Chicago’s West Side, East Garfield Park community. Authorities said one of the offenders is a woman.

The vehicular hijacking occurred around 1:30 a.m. on the 3000 block of West Madison Avenue, near the intersection of Madison and Sacramento Boulevard.

Police said the male victim was accosted by three black suspects: two men and a woman.

One of the offenders hit the victim over the head with a black gun, then all three suspects took possession of the complainant’s vehicle, said investigators.

The male offenders were dressed in black hooded sweatshirts and black “Dickies” pants.

The lone female was wearing a red coat and black and white jeans.

Police described the stolen car as a metallic green Chrysler 300 Touring.

  1. GOD I hope they catch these ghetto thugs and smack them over the head with a gun..."you get what you give" "what goes around comes around" "an eye for an eye"...and on and on. These ghetto thugs need to be given far worse sentences than they're given. A slap on the hand? They're laughing at the justice system...so am I!

I LOVE those old Charles Bronson movies!!!! If law abiding Chicagoans are ever granted permission to protect themselves, maybe life will imitate art. ;-)
