Second robbery at Greyhound bus station


Earlier this morning, a woman was robbed in front of a Chicago Greyhound bus station. Several hours later, a second person was robbed at the same location.

At approximately 5:44 a.m., an off-duty Chicago police officer reported a robbery in front of the Greyhound bus terminal at 630 West Harrison Street.

The off-duty cop said a man was pistol-whipped and robbed in front of the station.

According to police dispatch reports, two men were involved in the assault and robbery.

Authorities did not provide a detailed description of the offenders.

As of 6:03 a.m., there was no indication any arrests had been made.

  1. People should NOT leave the safety of the station..PERIOD! If they have to smoke, walk off 15 feet by the front door and stand there. Come on people use your brains and maybe you can stay safe!
