Barneys New York Co-Op burglarized in Lincoln Park

Police were called to a North Side Lincoln Park business after a thief tripped a burglar alarm.

The incident occurred around 6 a.m. at Barneys New York Co-Op at 2209 North Halsted Street, near the corner of Halsted and Webster Avenue.

An officer at the scene said someone broke a window and walked away with a large amount of purses and coats.

No arrests have been made.

Police are investigating.

  1. Well this should be an easy arrest...any black or hispanic ghetto thug walking around with a Barneys coat or purse should make the cops say "BINGO and arrest them!
