The whole area has police cameras flashing on light poles. How could this have gone unsolved? What are those cameras for? Do they even work?....serious!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, I can't speak on this case, but there have been many instances where police have tried to retrieve video from those cameras, only to discover that they are not working.
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks for the reply Mr. Fitz. That amazes me that "they are not working". I guess it's a good strategy, but why not put them (cameras) to work since they are there. Its seems the bangers & dealers know they dont work. I mean it's obvious they know....they are committing crimes all around these fake(?)cameras. Again thanks for the reply and thanks for this lovely blog! :)
ReplyDeleteNot only do the criminals know where the broken cameras are, they also know when and where there are fewer police officers on the streets. Criminals also routinely test the CPD's response time, by placing bogus 911 calls.
ReplyDeleteNo one ever talks about all the fake 911 calls officers get, and the purpose behind those calls. :-)
This crime occurred in Hermosa.
