Crimes committed by flash mobs downtown and on the Near North Side of Chicago are getting so out of control, Loyola University has put the staff members and students at their Water Tower Campus on high alert.
According to an article posted by the Loyola Student Dispatch, on Sunday, April 10, 2011, the McDonald's at 10 East Chicago Avenue, near the corner of State and Chicago, was taken over by approximately 70 rowdy teenagers.
The troublemakers, who were part of a flash mob, created a major disturbance, forcing the Chicago Police Department to shut down the Near North Side fast food restaurant for "nearly three hours", said the student-run publication.
The offenders responsible for last Sunday's mayhem, are believed to be tied to the rash of mobs who shoplift and threaten store employees at businesses at the Water Tower Place and on Michigan Avenue.
Loyola University's Water Tower Campus students are urged to remain extra vigilent and to contact authorities if they see suspicious activity in the area.
Although race was not mentioned in the Loyola Student Dispatch article, based on my own overage of similar events, most the people involved in these crimes are young, black teenagers.
These massive race-based attacks by blacks upon others in that area have really been picking up in recent years. Although the media have avoided coming out and reporting the situation, just like the Loyola article refrains from identifying the perpetrators as being blacks, word gets out little by little. Downtown and Michigan Avenue brings in a lot of money to the city and to have the tourist trade destroyed by this violent filth would have ripple effects for all tax-paying residents; not that these cretins care, they're all just products of the welfare state and get a kick out of destroying what others have built up.
ReplyDeleteI've seen them; they have a total sense of impunity and don't seem to mind getting arrested. Why aren't they being convicted and given prison sentences, instead of being released within hours? The only thing gangbangers and their followers understand is force; reasoning and talk is only regarded as weakness.
Deport them and send them to Africa.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty sad nowadays that when you see a group of black youth, you pretty much say *bleep* it and go somewhere else and report the crowd to the police. I have experienced racism at its worst in my life, having been homeless at times, and we need a new Martin Luther King to bring the African American community back on track.
ReplyDeletePerhaps this MacDonalds needs to shut down. They generally have nothing but vagrants hanging in the outdoor area anyway. Plus the close proximity to the Redline isn't good either. If they don't get their acts together soon, they might not be allowed in any store in the Gold Coast...the money maker for the city. Oh wait, they'll scream discrimination and call in Jesse and his pal to stage a protest because we all know these are just innocent kids...yea right! What's that saying "You get what you give"?????

ReplyDeleteIt's basically like this, folks: I love my kids and love them so much, I put the fear of God into them and also discipline them, because I LOVE THEM. My kids are no exception. If I don't put the fear of God into them and don't discipline them, they have a greater chance of turning out to be criminals. Parents, please do your best to start disciplining your kids and putting the fear of God into them at a young age; believe me, it's a sign of love.
