According to police, the victim was robbed by four black suspects: three men and a transgender female.
One male offender was wearing a black sweatshirt; another male suspect was wearing a gray sweatshirt; and the transgender female had blond hair.
A description of the forth offender was not provided.
All four suspects fled the scene westbound on Belmont Avenue, in a dark green Grand AM with a possible license plate of k 7 9 9 8 5.
NOTE: Although police dispatch identified the victim as a man, an officer at the scene described the victim as a “woman”.
Belmont between Broadway and Sheffield at your own risk after hours. While that strip has always had a certain level of criminal activity, there's been an uptick this year. If you've been drinking, you're a sitting duck for these gutless thugs.

Have you ever been into the Dunkin Donuts between 10 pm and 6 am? It is full of stinky ghetto ho's. Why can't the police shut all of this down?

ReplyDeleteThe "boundaries" have been spread quite a bit since your last visit Anon. "They're" everywhere in the 'hood. Up and down Broadway from Belmont to Roscoe, the first few blocks of Halsted south of Belmont are well.....Detroit is kinda lookin' a little better again right about now.

There is a quasi racist contingent of people who contend that the Center on Halsted is attracting Southside criminals to the area, it's easy to google, just google "Center on Halsted gang" for a in-depth quasi racist take on this phenomenon.
