Police were notified around 7:50 p.m., once the children returned home.
According to police dispatch reports, the children were terrorized by fifteen gang members.
The suspects were described as male Hispanics wearing gray and blue hats. One of the alleged gangsters reportedly pulled a "black gun" on the children.
No further details are available.
Police are investigating.
Warren Park? Are you kidding me? We have got to start arresting these GHETTO THUGS terrorizing our communities. Were arrests made? Did the parents call 911 AS SOON as they saw this group? What's the point of having these so called smart phones if people are only going to play games and listen to music??? If people would call 911 as soon as they see a group of possible gang members, it might just get nipped in the bud BEFORE it begins. I'm just saying....
ReplyDeleteTowanda, I don't think the parents were with the children when this incident occurred. The police were notified when the children got home. So, I'm guessing the kids were alone when they were reportedly threatened.
ReplyDeleteWow! I don't think in this climate of crime, I would let my kids go to the park alone, but that's just me..pretty protective of the things I love:)
