Just when you think you've got her all figured out...
Jan Brewer, the governor of Arizona, unexpectedly vetoed the "Birther Bill" and a proposed law that would have allowed guns on Arizona college campuses.
The "Birther Bill", or HB 2177, if passed, would have required presidential candidates to prove they were born in the U.S. before their names are added to Arizona's ballot.
It's no secret that the bill was aimed at President Barack Obama.
The Guns on Campus Bill, or SB 1467, would have allowed Arizonans to carry guns into the common, or public areas of community colleges and public universities.
Because of today's shocking developments, some Tea Party members are speculating that Obama is responsible for Brewer's decision to veto the "Birther Bill".
Right now, the word "bribe" is being passed around in republican circles like a collection plate at a baptist church.
While I think this Governor is just a wee bit off center, I doubt there was any bribing going on. Besides, I don't know of ANY president in the history of this country that wasn't born here. So good for her for closing that chapter. And the Tea Party? They're just a bunch of idiots anyway.

Brewer's previous political decisions led me to believe she was in favor of the "Birther Bill". I wonder what happened.

By the way, it looks like Brewer's decision to veto the Birther Bill may have eroded her base. There is a fierce tidal wave of backlash brewing online.
ReplyDeleteShe's a republican so I doubt she would listen to anything the President said, if he said anything. She isn't well liked anyway because of the immigration thing so the naysayers will use anything and everything to take her down. I'm not a big fan of the President right now BUT I'm not a big fan of ANY of the parties, so I'm not defending anyone. I just think the country has been divided enough with all this nonsense. Hell, when the country was founded, there wasn't a two party system and now we have the Democrats, Republicans, Tea party, Green party and the Independents..ALL of them with their own personel agenda. I'm sick to tears of Government and I would imagine millions more feel the same way. They get NOTHING done that benefits the American people..the very people who pay their salary to do NOTHING. They all suck!

The US has always been divided by politics, race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, sexual preference, ability & disability, economic level and hot button issues (i.e. Jerry Springer, Oprah, abortion, gun control, death penalty).
It's pointless to blame Independents and Green Party Politicians, when their minute numbers haven't impacted much of American Society.
Even if the US had only political party, divisiveness would still remain. :(
Oh Rudy darling; I simply said "She's a republican so I doubt she would listen to anything the President said, if he said anything." because of the bribery slant to get her to change her mind...I really could care less about political parties or frat parties...wait, aren't they one and the same:) And the mention of ALL the various parties is just to show it's all far more confusing than it has been...Again, I truly am not to interested in politics simply because I really like to be told the truth:) But I'm glad I made you smile with my "silliest thing" Rudy:)

Obviously, since Obama is spending millions of dollars to hide his birth certificate, college records, high school and elementary records as well as hospital records he is a monumental fraud. He is by no means eligible to be president as his father was never a U.S. citizen. It really doesn't matter whether he was born here or not. He could have been born in the oval office, without two U.S. citizen parents he is not a natural born citizen, a status the constitution requires for the presidency.

The really fun thing about Obama is he stews controversies and like a children's party magician he encourages people to fixate on unimportant spectacles of his own manufacture. There are a few questions you should be asking yourselves right now: 1) Why are so many people in the U.S. government willing to cover up for such an obvious puppet, 2) Why does this puppet want such porous U.S. borders, and 3) Why does the puppet want the rules of the UN to take precedence over the U.S. constitution?
This administration is destroying the money supply with inflationary policies (QE1,QE2, Q3...ad nauseum), setting people at each other's throats, appropriating large percentages of formerly private enterprise and no one even READS THE LEGISLATION. People, read the legislation. This man is a charlatan.
Why aren't there any do-gooders advocating "People can have sex any place, any time they want!" ? :)
