Logan Square clothing store robbed

Monday, police were looking for a Hispanic man who stole an arm-load of merchandise from a Northwest Side clothing store.

Around 10:38 a.m., a brazen shoplifter ran into the Pay Half clothing store at 2746 North Milwaukee Avenue and snatched multiple articles of clothing.

Then, the suspect jumped into a 1993 Toyota and fled the scene northbound on Milwaukee Avenue.

If you have any information on this crime, please contact the police.

  1. I was leaving a Dillards when we were in Albuquerque years ago and we saw a couple young "thugs" do the same thing..it's called "grab & dash". We were able to get the plate number, called it in and gave it to management. Right place at the wrong time" but paying attention. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Probably not a good idea to have clothes close to the door...ya think?!

  2. Shoplifting hurts businesses, and ultimately, the consumer. And it really hurts small businesses.
