Police: Lakeview robber held gun to victim’s throat

Around 1:50 a.m., a potentially deadly robbery occurred in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood.

A victim was robbed at gunpoint near the intersection of West Roscoe Street and North Greenview Avenue - which is approximately 1400 West Roscoe and 3330 North Greenview.

During the robbery, a male African-American offender, held a gun to the victim’s throat, said police. 

The suspect is 5’6” to 5’7” and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black cap. He fled the scene northbound on Greenview.

Sorry folks, but I think, thanks to these ghetto thugs prowling all the neighborhoods in the city, that WHENEVER people see young black men in neighborhoods they DON"T belong in, people are going to start calling 911 EVERYTIME because they will think they are up to no good..usually are...and the stereotyping will filter down to ALL the educated, taxpaying, law abiding, contributing Black folks. It's a "dominio effect" for sure. These ghetto thugs might as well be spitting on MLK's grave.

  2. Well, responsible Chicago taxpayers in general are stereotyped as being too violent to allow them to carry a weapon. (Only Illinois totally disallows this. Surely our elected officials know better than we do. They will protect us.
