22-year-old Christopher Buchanan, a former CTA security guard, has been charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse and unlawful restraint of a 17-year-old male CTA passenger.
Saturday, February 5, 2011, around midnight, Buchanan stopped a 17-year-old boy at the CTA Orange Line station at 4900 South Kedzie Avenue. Buchanan approached the boy after the 17-year-old allegedly jumped the turnstile - without paying his fare.
The 22-year-old man purportedly took the teenager into a CTA washroom, searched him, handcuffed him, ordered him to lie on his stomach, removed the boy's shoes and socks, and rubbed his genitals on the 17-year-old's bare feet.
CTA officials have asked Securitas Security Services, a security firm that provides services to CTA, to remove Mr. Buchanan from their contract.
According to the accused man's Facebook profile, on February 5, the same date the alleged sexual assault occurred, Mr. Buchanan posted a complainant on his Facebook wall indicating he was having trouble at work and was desperately in need of sex.
"MAN MAN I GOING THOUGH SUM F**KING SH*T I NEED SUM F**KING ASS MAN REAL TALK I NEED TO HAVE THAT ROUGH F**KING SEX MAN I HATE JOBS MAN ALWAYS DEALING DRAMA B**CHES," said Buchanan to his Facebook friends.
Chicago News Report reached out to several people listed as Buchanan's online friends. The few people who responded, hadn't seen or spoken to the former CTA security guard in years.
One man said he used to work with Buchanan five years ago at a Jewel Food Store. Back then, Buchanan was in high school and appeared to be extremely timid, said the source.
What a disgusting man! Seems "extremely timid" has turned into extremely disgusting! And how stupid to put that on your Facebook page. Wonder if the company he works for bothers to do background checks. Surely this isn't his "first" time! This man needs to be put away because the NEXT time he won't just be using a foot to get off!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that when I was growing up, there was no such thing as Facebook, Twitter, or the Internet!
ReplyDeleteYoung people lack impulse control and some of them aren't smart enough to understand what should and shouldn't be posted on the Internet.
If Buchanan is guilty of the charges being leveled against him, he is a potentially dangerous person who needs to be kept away from the rest of us.
this sounds like some bull. Something isnt just right about this whole thing. Now why would this gentleman just rub his genitals on this young man feet. Couldnt this pretent cop have just been checking his shoes for drugs...the whole thing sounds like a set up. As big as this gentleman looks and as small as the bathrooms in the station are if both of them were stretched out then they could not both fit inside, thats impossible. Has anyone been in those bathrooms? Im not saying this guy is innocent but it appears he is being convicted on some bull.
ReplyDelete"this sounds like bull"? The bathroom is too small? Feet fetish? Are you kidding me? People keep other people/kids in cages, locked in a bathroom for years, keep them in boxes or trunks. Evil is as evil does. I have no doubt this guy did this from the words HE put on his Facebook and by putting those comments on his Facebook...stupid is as stupid does! He's a very dangerous person who SHOULD NOT be walking among us.
ReplyDeleteToo bad we live in a place that convict you on hearsay. Although his stupid young actions placed those stupid comments on his facebook page how do we know what he was talking about. We know the media have a way of making things look and sound how they intend for it to sound. All I am saying is we need more facts and who this seventeen year old is that is accusing him and how this story came about. I did say that he may be guilty but then again how many people were convicted that were actually innocent but were accused of rape or murder. I don't want to be the one convicting this young man without a fair trial. To all those young stupid people who post stupid stuff on facebook. Take note, your words can be used against you no matter what or how you intended that message to be.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what the dispute is....there is security footage (no pun intended) of his actions, correct?
ReplyDeleteNot sure about security footage but I am curious as well...Nothing was stated in the article or nothing was stated in the news about security footage...
ReplyDeletethis is the real me an responding to everyone post I was found not guilty of all charges the kid kept lying though out the testimony some people are right watch what you post on websites media will try to find a way to turn it against you an after being found not guilty no media or paper wanted to air me so this is the real truth
