Patients, mental health workers, and advocates have barricaded themselves inside a South Side mental health facility... they say they are not coming out until Mayor Rahm Emanuel addresses their concerns.
On April 12, 2012, Chicago police officers got into a scuffle with protestors outside the Woodlawn Clinic at 6337 South Woodlawn Avenue.
"They tried to get in and we hold up our ground," said one demonstrator.
According to a recent press release, the Northwest Clinic in Logan Square and the Northtown Clinic in Rogers Park, shut their doors last Friday. Clinics in Woodlawn, Auburn/Gresham, Back of the Yards, and Beverly/Morgan Park are scheduled to close April 30th.
A man barricaded inside the clinic told a negotiating police officer that Mayor Emanuel needs to spend less money on "boat moors and bike trails", and more money on mental health services.
I agree with the guys, but its above the cops pay grade.

Based on your violent, sociopathic fantasies, imagined "history," and not to mention incredibly poor spelling & grammar, its very easy to determine your racial makeup. Also, if someone in my family did get sick, as your voodoo ass is trying to wish on people, you would see that white people take care of their own. White people keep their sick at home, where we can provide & care for them, and love them. We don't send them off to garbage dumps like these that are full of drug addicts and useless staff that are just there to "get theirs."
What do blacks do? They ship them off to backwards 'clinics' like this & the Y, and demand that someone else care for them. Now that is just sick & disgusting. I hope nobody in your family is befallen in the manner that you wish on mine & others, becasue we already know that you wouldn't be there for them. Of course, black "men" in Chicago tend to impregnate young "women" and then never be there to care for the child, so it shouldn't be a suprise to anyone when you don't care for your adults, either.
These parasites on the backs of taxpayers have just been having their own private clubhouse at our expense. It's about time it was closed down.

ReplyDeleteIts not like EVERY mental health facility is closing. Maybe there were too many to begin with. If they are crazy enough they will get arrested, and the cops can send them to a facility thats still open (hopefully out of state).

ReplyDeleteThe largest mental health center in Illinos is COOK COUNTY JAIL. They will save money by cutting these services for the short term but in the long run, it will cost more. These mentally ill folks are going to be showing up in ER's in masses. I hope the hospitals have extra Haldol & Thorazine.

Well the family can't posisble afford thay, and of coursew Sheliqua on disability (though its entirely her fault for never giving a damn about her own health), so the city better take care of her!
Its fucking absurd. The vast majority of the "patients" & "clients" of these social service agencies are just drug abusers, alcoholics, and worthless losers who need insist on being babysat even though they are grown adults.

Blacks are undermining the already-weak mental health system. A lot of social workers have fancy 8 year degrees and they do nothing more than pat black criminals on the head and give them clubhouses to engage in rampant TNB, see:Thresholds Dincin Center. Most of those aggressive panhandlers at Clark/Diversey/Broadway are associated with that place. The neighborhood would be so much better without it.

They don't live like kings, but they have free apartments, disability, LINK, a place to shoot pool and bully the mentally retarded, etc. Their lives are soft and much easier than yours, save for the tribal warfare drama that all blacks inflict upon the world. Call the place and ask for somebody in charge, and tell those dirty hippies we won't allow them to spread socialism and expand the welfare state
