Two people, presumably men, were hospitalized after a violent altercation in a West Side apartment building.
Around 3:17 a.m., police were called to a second floor apartment at 620 South Cicero Avenue in Chicago’s Austin neighborhood.
One injured person was found inside the apartment and a second individual was discovered in a nearby alley, near Cicero and West Flournoy Street.
Inside the apartment, copious amounts of blood were found on the floor and on a bottle that was used to assault the victims, said police.
Both men were taken to Mount Sinai hospital. Their conditions and circumstances surrounding the violence that lead to their injuries, were not disclosed.
Preliminary information indicates no one has been arrested for this crime.
