A thief in Chicago’s Avondale neighborhood stole a package scanner from a UPS truck. Police aren’t sure if the suspect stolen any packages.
The incident occurred at 7:26 p.m. on the 3200 block of West Diversey Avenue, near the intersection of Diversey and North Sawyer Avenue.
The thief was described as a Hispanic man in his early twenties. He is about 5’10”, 120 lbs, extremely thin with very pale skin.
He was last seen wearing a black fur hat, a black puffy jacket, black skinny jeans, and black gloves with gray stripes on them.
Can someone explain why a thief would still a UPS package scanner?

Maybe's he's planning on stealing packages from the driver and than will scan them to make them look like they've been delivered rather than stolen?? LOL. Other than that stupid scenario..I haven't a clue other than high on drugs. I wouldn't deliver packages in certain areas of this city for triple the going pay rate of the ups drivers.
ReplyDeleteIt's not like those machines carry credit card information. Very strange. Maybe is skinny jeans are cutting off the blood flow to his brain. :-)
ReplyDeleteLOL! There's just no other explanation for this one:)
