Near North Side 7-Eleven Robbed

Police are investigating a robbery at a Near North Side Chicago convenience store.

The robbery happened around 3 a.m. at 645 North State Street. The address belongs to a neighborhood 7-Eleven.

Authorities said an African-American man in his forties stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the 24-hour store. It's unclear if the thief used a weapon.

The offender is approximately 5’9” to 5’10”. No further details were provided.

According to Chicago Every Block, on January 15, 2011, at 1:45 a.m., a strong-arm robbery occurred on 600 block of North State Street.

  1. Is there ANYTHING else these "African-American men" know how to do other than rob, beat, mug and kill people? The on going crime being committed by these ghetto thugs is starting to turn the pages...backwards on all the accomplishments of the Civil Rights movement. They do their culture a tremendous disservice by wrecking havoc on and preying on the contributing members of society in their culture. They are a true slap in the face to MLK & RFK who died for that Civil Rights Movement so the African-American could walk proudly and hold their head up. So the African-American could have the same rights as "almost"(gay people are still working on that) anyone one else in this country and they disgrace all that they have been given.
