At 7:13 a.m., a Chicago, Logan Square 7-Eleven at 2401 North Milwaukee Avenue was robbed.
Police said the offender stuck his hand in his right pocket and motioned like he had a gun. Then he forced the clerk to open the cash register and made her go to the back of store.
The thief stole a ten dollar bill and several singles from the register.
The suspect is an African-American man with a very dark complexion and a thin mustache. He is approximately 20-years-old and was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and tan-colored Timberland boats.
Because the clerk was forced to the back of the store, she was unable to tell police which way the robber went.
At 7:18 a.m., a police officer stopped a subject matching the offender’s description near the intersection of North Sacramento Avenue and West Lyndale Street. Unfortunately, they had the wrong man.

7-11's seem to be the target lately. Is it because they don't have extra security and one employee maning the store? Seems that makes those stores and employees easy targets.
