Auburn - Gresham Restaurant Robbed at Gunpoint

The Firehouse and Captain Hooks restaurant, located in a strip mall on Chicago's south side, was robbed at gunpoint.

The armed robbery occurred around 8:19 p.m., at 1642 West 79th Street, in Chicago’s Auburn/Gresham neighborhood.

Police say two African-American men, one wearing a green jacket and the other wearing a blue jacket, robbed the south side eatery.

No injuries were reported and no further details were available.

  1. And than they yell about not having stores in their neighborhoods. Why have one when these ghetto thugs will only rob you blind? That's the reason more than half of the business left on the south & west sides. You get what you sow and that would be nothing.
