The startling incident occurred around 9:26 p.m., at Core Fitness, 1030 West North Avenue, in Chicago’s DePaul Neighborhood.
Initially, the responding officer went to HiFi Personal Fitness. That facility moved to another location.
The officer told dispatch the space was empty.
Dispatch gave the officer updated information and told him the trespasser was at Core Fitness in suite 300.
