Two thieves decided to cover their bases when they robbed a man on Chicago’s northwest side.
According to the victim, one suspect was armed with a silver pistol and the other offender was carrying a large butcher knife.
Police say the robbery occurred around 9:50 p.m. near the intersection of West Fullerton Avenue and North Hamlin Avenue.
The offender carrying the large butcher knife was described as a dark complexioned Hispanic man, 25 to 30-years-old, approximately 5’10”, and 150 lbs. He has a teardrop tattoo underneath both eyes, and was wearing a black hoodie and black jeans.
The suspect armed with the silver pistol was described as a 25-year-old Hispanic man, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. He is approximately 5’5” and 150 lbs.
After stealing the victim’s “Mexican ID” and $200, the crooks ran southbound on North Hamlin Avenue.
