A CTA employee called police after spotting a passenger with a gun.
The incident occurred around 11:17 p.m. at the Division/Milwaukee Blue Line station at 1200 North Milwaukee Avenue in Wicker Park.
The suspect was riding on a northbound train in car number 3117.
The train operator said a white man with a goatee, wearing a black hat, black coat, and white gym shoes, had a gun in his waistband.
Before police arrived, the suspect got off the train and exited the Division/Milwaukee station.
