A CTA train was held at the Addison Red Line station at 940 West Addison Street, after a passenger became disruptive.
Police were notified around 4:40 a.m.
The passenger, who might have been suffering from mental issues, was described as a 40-year-old African-American man, with a black wrap or scarf around his head.
He was also wearing a brown leather jacket and carrying a black backpack. And according to the 911 caller, the offender was possibly armed with a knife.
At 4:45 a.m. an officer interviewed the troublesome CTA rider, after he had been kicked off the train by the conductor.
I was unable to confirm if the man was arrested or simply given a good talking to.
