Beaten by Cross-dressers with Baseball Bats in Englewood

This next story puts a brand new twist on the phrase “gay bashing”.

Five suspects are wanted for an apparent, random attack in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood.

Around 2:39 a.m., a battery victim walked into the 7th district police station, 1438 West 63rd Street, and reported a motley crew of offenders.

According to police, two women and three men dressed like women, jumped out of a red SUV, presumably a Cavalier, and attacked a random victim with baseball bats. The assault occurred on the 7500 block of South Halsted Street.

The extent of the battery victim's injuries were not disclosed and no additional information is available.

7th district police are still investigating this crime.
