Fake Cop Tries to Pull Over Real Cop on Lake Shore Drive

An off-duty Chicago police officer dialed 911 after a man impersonating a police officer, tried to pull him over on North Lake Shore Drive.

The incident occurred around 6 a.m. near Belmont and Lake Shore Drive, in the northbound lanes.

The off-duty cop said the fake cop was driving a white, 2003, Crown Victoria, with a dash-mounted radio, and appeared to be talking into a CB; as he attempted to pull him over. The off-duty officer gave police the license plate number: 6392468.

The driver was described as a Hispanic man.
