Purple Bonneville Involved in Armed Robbery and Hit and Run in Englewood

UPDATED: At 2 p.m., this afternoon, a strong arm robbery and hit and run occurred on the 7300 block of South Ashland Ave., in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood.
3 African-American men in a Purple, 1999, Pontiac Bonneville, with license plate number H844617; reportedly brandished a blue-steel handgun, robbed several people, and hit a pedestrian with their car as they fled the scene.
The car sustained extensive front-end damage and an ambulance was called to treat the hit and run victim.
One suspect was arrested at 2251 w 54th Street, after the assailants ditched the Bonneville.
Police are still looking for two more suspects. One man was wearing a yellow jacket and the other was wearing a white sweatshirt. They were last seen in the area of 56th and Oakley.
According to police, one of the offenders, possibly the man wearing the white sweatshirt, has been identified as James Miller from the west side of Chicago. The identification was made by the suspect's mother.
The arrested suspect, who was brought back to the scene of the crime, 73rd and Ashland Ave., reportedly had a seizure.
EMS was called to the scene.
