Just shy of 3 a.m., a robbery was reported on the 500 block of South State St.
As information rolled in, I was informed that the robbery occurred at 525 S. State Street, the University Center of Chicago, which is home to Columbia College, DePaul University, and Roosevelt University students.
The robbery victim was described as an elderly man. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Hopefully, mainstream media will pick up this story and we’ll learn more details.
NOTE: On September 30, 2010, a man reportedly tried to sexually assault a student at this same address.
