Chicagoans Respond to Gay Teen Suicides

In a world of Facebooks and Twitters, it's hard to image anyone feeling so hopeless - so isolated and afraid - they have to resort to killing themselves. But in the wake of a slew of gay, teen suicides; clearly, a plethora of social networking websites aren't enough to save our children from the wrath of bigotry.

The truth is... Billy Lucas, Tyler Clementi, Seth Walsh, and Asher Brown didn't have to die. If they lived in a world of tolerance and respect for other people's differences - all four of them would probably still be alive.

Shame on us for letting this happen.

  2. Rudy, thank you for bringing Raymond's death to my attention. Unfortunately, I can't be everywhere at one time, and this news slipped pass my radar.

However, I have since corrected my oversight with a new article on Raymond Chase's alleged suicide.

Again, thank you for sharing and feel free to contact me with more news ideas.
