West Englewood Man Stabbed by Female Suspect

At 11:09 p.m., police officers were called to the 5500 block of South Wood Street in Chicago’s West Englewood neighborhood; where a male victim had been stabbed by a female suspect.
The incident appears to be domestic related.
Police had a difficult time gaining entry into the building. A female officer had to crime through a window in order to let the paramedics in.
According to an officer on the scene, a female suspect was custody.
The victim was stabbed in the left side of his abdomen. He was taken to Mount Sinai in stable condition.
