A truck driver was robbed at gunpoint in Chicago's Humboldt neighborhood.
The crime occurred around 10:30 a.m., this morning, on the 1000 block of North Monticello Ave.
The driver said he was approached by an African-American male, wearing a ski mask, who brandished a gun and stole his wallet; which had an undisclosed amount of cash in it.
The victim waited until he got home to contact the police.
This afternoon, around 2 p.m., a Chicago police officer interviewed the truck driver and declared the event a "bonified, strong arm robbery".
