Transsexual Assaulted Near UIC

A transsexual female was reportedly assaulted near the University of Illinois at Chicago, in Chicago’s University Village.
The 22-year-old victim said she was attacked by a white male. The motive for the attack was not disclosed and other than the offender’s race, no description was provided.
The alleged assault occurred at the intersection of Racine and Polk.
The female police dispatcher who announced the purported crime, struggled to describe the victim’s gender.
