Passenger Attacked on CTA Red Line: Roosevelt and State


6:15 am -- Another assault on the Red Line was just reported.

A fight occurred on a northbound train stationed at Roosevelt and State Street. A passenger on car number 2822 allegedly threatened to “kill everyone on the train”, and then assaulted a passenger.

The offender was described as African-American, 6’2”, braided hair, wearing a red and blue Cubs jersey. He fled the scene northbound on Wabash.

He was later spotted on Michigan Ave., near Columbia College (600 South Michigan Ave.).

The status of his arrest is unknown.
