11:26 pm -- An off-duty Chicago police officer, on Chicago’s south side, was reportedly acting “strangely“. The officer’s wife said her husband awoke, drew his weapon, and said that someone was trying to kill him.
I have decided not to mention the exact location of the incident, since an off-duty police officer is involved.
No word on the officer’s condition or if medical treatment was needed.
