Chicago Police Officer Injured; Suspect Chased Through 6200 South Wolcott

11:27 pm -- Chicago police officers were in hot pursuit of Christopher Boyd; who is described as African-American, 6-feet-tall, 170 lbs, braided hair, and has a teardrop tattoo underneath his left eye.

I have no information on what Boyd is wanted for.

Police chased the suspect to an address on the 6200 block of South Wolcott. The tenants at that address told police that Boyd escaped through a back door. Police believed the suspect was still inside.

At this time, the status of Boyd’s arrest is unknown. The suspect may still be at large, since police listed his last known address: 64XX South Wood.

Subsequent reports indicated that an officer was injured. An ambulance was called to 6239 South Wolcott.

If I get more information, I will update this article accordingly.
