A 19-year-old man was shot on 7100 block of South Washtenaw Ave., in Chicago's Marquette Park neighborhood.
The shooting occurred around 5:11 p.m., this evening.
At the time of my report, the teen, who was shot in his left leg, was said to be in "very good condition" and was still being interviewed by police.
He was taken to Holy Cross Hospital and treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
Hours later,
this story was picked up by mainstream media.
