3:03 am -- Someone reported a man with a knife or a gun on CTA’s Thorndale, Red Line “L” stop, located at 1118 W. Thorndale Ave., in Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood.
The alleged offender was described as an African-American male, wearing black jeans, and a long coat. The person who called 911 couldn’t tell if the man was carrying a gun or knife, but was sure it was a weapon.
Reportedly, there was an officer on the scene, but I have no idea if he made contact with the suspect.
