Man Pushed on Train Tracks at 79th Street Red Line "L" Stop
9:40 pm -- A man was attacked at the 79th Street, Red Line "L" Stop, located at 15 West 79th Street, on Chicago's south side.
The victim was attacked by several men; one of them pushed the man onto the train tracks.
According to an officer on the scene, the victim was injured. The extent of his injuries are unknown.
Reportedly, at least one of the offenders fled the scene eastbound, on a 79th Street bus that connects with the 79th Street, Red Line terminal.
At the time of my report, an officer was attempting to stop the bus believed to be carrying one of the assailants.
