An elderly woman on the 6300 block of South Washtenaw Ave., was brutally attacked and robbed. According to police, the senior citizen was knocked from her wheelchair, as thieves snatched her purse.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m., this evening.
The attackers were described as 3 African-American teens, between the ages of 15 to 16-years-old.
An ambulance was called to the scene to treat the victim. No further details are available.
