This morning, around 2:19 am, a man was shot in the foot by an unknown gunman. The shooter sprang from a vehicle and fired 2 shots at the victim, striking him once, in his left, middle toe.
The victim was taken to Holy Cross Hospital (2701 West 68th Street) in stable condition.
The shooter is described as African-America, with a medium complexion and a thin build. There was another male passenger in the gunman's car, but the victim was unable to provide a description.
