Englewood: Liquor Store Shooting and Robbery at 6201 S. Racine
The owner or manager of an Englewood liquor store was shot during a robbery.
The gunman shot the victim as he attempted to flee the scene. A bullet went through the man’s widow, then through the vehicle’s headrest; eventually, striking the victim in his shoulder. The crime scene was logged as 6201 S. Racine.
According an officer on the scene, there were several shell casing on the ground, and “lots” of blood.
The shooter fled the scene in a “tan Nissan“.

Somehow, 1206 W. Racine doesn't sound right. Perhaps, it's 6201 S. Racine?
ReplyDeletenoone90210, thank you for the correction. I went back and reviewed the information and you are right. The victim works for, or owns, a liquor store on the corner of 63rd and Racine.
