Man wanted for kissing, grabbing strangers

Thursday, police were looking for a man who assaulted several customers at a North Side coffee shop and attacked a woman on the street.

Around 7 a.m., a man got a little too friendly with the customers at the Starbucks at 1701 West Division Street, near Division and Paulina.

Citing police communications, a man grabbed several customers and kissed them.

The so-called kissing bandit was described as a 6’3”, balding, white male in his 50s with acne or pockmarks on his face, wearing a black North Face jacket.

About an hour later, a man matching the same description attacked a woman on the street.

At approximately 8 a.m., a male offender grabbed a woman by her waist outside the CVS Pharmacy at 1200 North Ashland Street, near Ashland and Division.

At the time of this report, the suspect was still on the loose.
